Day 1: Zaporozhye - Simferopol - Chatyrdag
Before a trip to Turkey, it was decided to test their strength in overcoming Chatyrdag on bicycles. We decided to go to the Trinity, because. everyone had holidays. Participants: Klochko Artem, Lazunko Tatyana, Bilinskaya Olya, Korytny Dima Trains going to the Crimea from Zaporozhye stop at the station for only 5 minutes, so you have to move and quickly jump into the car with the bikes. We put them, as usual, on the 3rd shelf in the reserved seat, all 4 fit without problems.
We took a nap until the morning and, having unloaded, sat down to have breakfast right at the station. At what Dima recklessly decided to drink beer and after 5 minutes he was already taken away by the valiant cops :) True, after 40 minutes he was returned and was not even fined.
Simferopol cat :)
The road from Simferopol to Chatyrdag is easy, almost without elevation changes, but it is very difficult to go up from the foot: the ground is wet after rain, there are a lot of stones. So, basically, the bikes were rolled up.
Away Chatyrdag - we go there. It started to rain, then a small hail. Some waited under the roof of a bus stop on the road, some spilled out and spilled out on us)
Started the climb
On the lower plateau of Chatyrdag
We met a bombing sunset on the mountain
Overnight stay
We got up in 2 hours and settled down for the night in a cozy piece of forest. Traveled 33 km
